The hotel is really well-kept. Public spaces were clean and comfortable. It has a nice rooftop bar area. The room was quaint, well-ventilated, and nicely designed.

Stunning art-deco architecture with floor to ceiling windows and jaw-dropping views.Huge bathroom with soaking tub and large stand alone shower. Every staff member we encountered from Antonio and his crew at the valet station to the lobby staff was fantastic.A special thanks to Kat Weber who patiently answered all my questions and helped me pick the perfect room for our 40th wedding anniversary. She nailed it. The Viceroy is our favorite hotel - ever.

This is a great hotel. The location was perfect - right in the heart of the "Gold Coast" in a lively area with great proximity to shopping and dining. The staff was fantastic. The hotel was beautifully, and interestingly (but not conventionally), decorated. The rooms were very large and very well equipped. The restaurant (ground floor) and bar (rooftop) were beautiful and the food was very good, but not great. Really great bicycles were available for free from the front desk and I strongly recommend this as a great way to see Chicago. I travel a lot and used to be a professional hotel investor. I am a tough grader but I will definitely be coming back to this hotel and will happily recommend it to friends.

Excellent location, and everything was tastfull designed. The views were very nice.The staff was very pleasant and professional. Very nice bathroom. The candy and coffee station in the lobby was a nice touch. Appreciated the welcome bottle of processco and truffles to celebrate birthday.

Perfect location to reach the Times square and and 20 min walk from Central Park. Very nice entrance hall and the primary 5* is for the pool on the roof. The rooftopbar food and drink was superb also!

rooftop bar was great. restaurant next door was great. staff, cleanliness, and hospitality were excellent. location was absolutely perfect. all of our restaurants we planned to eat at were so close, we walked to all but one and could've walked to the 3rd.

The service and the people were absolutely amazing , I can say say without a doubt that was the best customer service we have ever received !!!!!!! But I would like to point out 3 people that just blew my mind and they went above and beyond unfortunate I don’t remember their names . I was a beautiful african American lady at the service desk and two Hispanic gentlemen , one that helped us with the suitcases and the other with our vehicle . I am German and American service has always been a bit superficial to me but these three people were so sincere in their service and friendliness it was just absolutely amazing . Please extend my deepest gratitude and thank u for being a part in our vacation .

This pristine venue is an excellent opportunity for a luxurious getaway with your loved one/s. <3 My partner and I checked-in effortlessly with the help of Viceroy's professional staff, after which we were guided to our beautiful *upgraded* room! Spotless and comfortable, with champagne and chocolates accompanied by a thoughtful note congratulating us on our 5 year anniversary. We spent nearly all mornings at the hotel's chic restaurant, Somerset, where the service and dishes were simply amazing. We would like to sincerely thank all of the staff for their warm welcome and excellent service throughout, especially Gabriel, Camille, and ofcourse Alison! 10/10 Highly, highly recommended!

Location was central for lots of places to eat. Hotel - even though we arrived at check in time the room wasn’t ready so after a 10 hour flight had to wait. However, after that no issues at all with the hotel and staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Hotel is advertised as having complimentary drinks between 4-5 but only once were these out for residents to take a glass. Everyday you had to ask and then somebody would disappear in the back room and come back with a glass for you. For the price of the hotel and star rating cost you would expect for the drinks to be out as they are in every other American hotel we’ve stayed in.Saw lots of people wandering around looking for them but didn’t like to ask for a drink so went without.
